CELBRATING 100 YEARS!!!!
The Ohio Military Band (OMB) is a community band open to all that wish to participate. We are celebrating 100 years in 2004!!!! The OMB is the oldest community band in the Cincinnati area and has been active all 100 years!!!! We rehearse Thursday nights, 7:30PM, at Springfield Township Senior Center, located at the intersection of Compton and Winton roads in Cincinnati Ohio. The OMB has been in continuous existence since 1904, with roots tracing back to the late 1800's. While we are a military band by name, we currently have no direct affiliation with the military. We play music of all styles, including marches, classics, show tunes, and more.

Our director is Mr. Mark Hensler. Mr. Hensler is currently director of the Pleasant Run Middle school band as well as assistant director for the Cincinnati Brass Band. He has been with the OMB for 10 years.
